Chicken Biryani....!


Ingredients:-
1/2 Kg.Chicken
1/4 Kg cooked rice
cooked fried potato chops
yogurt
Finely chopped onion-1
Fried sliced onions-1/2
Turmeric powder-1/4 Tsp.
Red chili powder-1/4 Tsp.
Grinded paste-(cinnamon,cloves,peppercorn)
Garam Masala-1/2 Tsp.
Coriander-cumin powder-1/2 Tsp.
Black pepper-1/4 Tsp.
Cinnamon sticks-4/5
salt-to taste
cumin seeds-1/4 Tsp.
Ginger-Garlic paste-2 Tsp.
Fresh coriander leaves-To garnish

Method:-First wash chicken pieces(do not make very small pieces),marinate chicken in a mixture of yogurt,salt,1 tsp.garam masala,1 tsp.ginger-garlic paste,fried crushed onions,marinate for 1/2 hour.
Heat oil in a pan,add khada masala(Cinnamon sticks,cloves,peppercorns,cumin seeds),add finely chopped onion,& fry for a minute.add marinated chicken & close it with the lid,let it cook for 10 mins.
Once the chicken is fully cooked,add turmeric powder,red chili powder,garam masala,salt,coriander cumin powder,& fry for a minute,add cooked rice,& mix well.
Add cooked fried potato,fried onion slices,& let it settle for 15 mins.
Garnish it with fresh chopped coriander leaves,salted cashews.
Serve with Raita.
