Sprouted Moong Khichadi

Ingredients:-

Basamati Rice-1/2 cup
Sprouted Moong-1/2 cup
Asafoetida-1/4 Tsp.
Turmeric Powder-1/4 Tsp.
Clarified Butter-1 Tsp.
Coriander-Cumin Powder-2 Tsp.
Sugar-1 Tsp.
Chilli Powder-1/2 Tsp.
Grated Fresh Coconut-1 Tbsp.
Chopped Coriander-2 Tbsp.
Salt-To taste

Method:-

1)Heat the clarified butter in a pressure cooker.
2)Take fresh grated coconut & coriander in a mixing bowl,add coriander-cumin powder,red chilli powder,sugar,asafoetida,add soaked rice & sproued moong to the mixture & mix well.
3)Put the mixture in a pressure cooker,add hot boiling 2 cups of water.
4)Add salt to taste.
5)Let it cook for 2/3 whistles.
6)Serve hot with yogurt,pickle,& papad.
