Ingredients:-
Making Spinach puree:-
- Bunch of spinach leaves
- 1 cup cooked chick peas/chole
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 Green Chilli
- 1 tbsp minced Garlic
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 tsp Fennel Seeds
- 2 Green Cardamom
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Kasoori Methi
Making Spinach puree:-
- Bring the water to boil
- Add spinach leaves in boiling water,& let the leaves be in boiling water for about 5 minutes.
- After it cool down completely,add it to the blender,add 1 chopped green chilli,& blend it to make spinach puree.
- Heat up oil in a pan,add bay leaf,1 tsp.of fennel seeds,green cardamom,& cook for a minute.
- Add finely chopped onion,& try till it turns pinkish.
- After onion is cooked,add minced garlic,mix well & cook for a minute.
- Now add garam masala,red chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder,& mix well.cook for 2 minutes.
- Add boiled chickpeas in the masala & mix well.
- Now add spinach puree,salt to taste,pinch of sugar,& mix well,bring it to boil.
- Add crushed kasoori methi,it gives awesome taste to the dish.
- Cook for 10 minutes on a low flame.
- Serve hot with chapati,paratha,plain rice.
