Chane Jaisalmeri...

Chane Jaisalmeri is one of the favorite Rajastani cusine,It is made with black chana,very easy to make,yet extremely delicious.

Ingredients:-

Kale chane(Bengal Gram)-1 cup
Yogurt-11/2 cup
Gram flour(Besan)-4 Tsp.
Turmeric Powder-1/2 Tsp.
Salt-To taste
Red chilli powder-1 Tsp.
Coriander Powder-2Tsp.
Garam masala powder-1Tsp.
Pure ghee-2 Tsp.
Asafoetida-a pinch
Cumin seeds-1Tsp.
Crushed green chillies-if required
Chopper fresh coriander-To garnish

Method:-

1)Soak kale chane overnight in water.
2)Add 2 cups of water,& pressure cook till done.
3)Drain the water,keep it aside for using it later.
4)Take the cooked chana in a bowl,& mash them lightly,you need mash them completely.
5)In a bowl,mix yogurt,gram flour,salt,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,garam masala powder,coriander powder,green chillies,& mix well.Add the drained water from chana,& mix well.
6)Heat ghee in a pan,Add cumin seeds,& asafoetida,add the yogurt mixture,& stir well.
7)Add some more water to adjust the consistency,& bring it to boil.
8)Add cooked mashed kala chana,& cook it for 7-8 minutes till the besan is cooked.
9)Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves,& serve hot with Roti,Fulka,or Rice.
